Merchandise Return Policies
If you receive an incorrect item or an item that is defective, please contact
the Microbarn.com RMA department by completing the online
RMA Form.
The RMA department will then assign you an RMA number
and provide you the appropriate return address. All returned merchandise must be
securely packed with the RMA number issued by
Microbarn.com clearly displayed on the outside of the packaging.
Returns without a valid Microbarn RMA number will be rejected.
Please note that a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number does not guarantee that the return
will be accepted. The return will be accepted if it is within the policies herein
stated and if the item is confirmed defective or shipped in error. All other returns are your
responsibility and will be rejected.
An RMA number is valid for 30 days only. If we do not receive the return
package within 30 days of the RMA number assignment, the RMA number becomes
invalid. Returns without a valid Microbarn RMA number will be rejected.
Physically damaged items cannot be returned to Microbarn.com. Physical damage
includes, but is not limited to, improper handling and any other damage not
sustained due to regular wear and tear. Additionally, the removal or alteration
of an item's serial number or warranty sticker will automatically void the
Microbarn Return Policy. As such, any item that is returned with a removed or
altered serial number or warranty sticker will be rejected.
All returns for a refund are subject to a
20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Standard Return Policy
Unless another return policy is indicated, all products sold by
Microbarn.com are covered by this Standard Return Policy. Merchandise covered by
this Standard Return Policy may be returned a) within twenty one (21) days of the
date of the original invoice for a refund or store credit, or b) within one
(1) year of the date of the original invoice for a replacement of the same item.
If you return a physically damaged item, an item that is not defective, an item
without a valid Microbarn return merchandise authorization (RMA) number, or an
item that is not covered by the return policy, then the item will be returned to
you at your (the buyer's) expense. All items returned for a refund must be in
their original condition and include the original packaging, accessories, CD/DVD
driver media and user manuals. All items returned for a refund or store credit are subject to a
20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Consumable Items Return Policy
Consumable items are items that are consumed once they are used. Examples of
consumable items are CD/DVD Media, bulk cable spools, cable ties, etc.
Merchandise covered by this Consumable Items Return Policy may be returned
within twenty one (21) days of the date of the original invoice if and only if the
item is returned in its sealed and unopened original packaging. Sealed and
unopened consumable items may be returned for a refund, a store credit, or a
replacement of the same item. All items returned for a refund are subject to a
20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Manufacturers' Warranties
Products that are covered by Manufacturers' Warranties must be returned
directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement. Products that
fall in this category have the manufacturer warranty coverage stated on the
product's web site description page. Microbarn.com does not offer any express
warranties. You must contact the product manufacturer directly to obtain
warranty details and to process a return request. If an item that is covered by
a Manufacturer Warranty is returned to Microbarn then the return will be
rejected and the item will be shipped back to you at your (the buyer's) expense.
